Couples Trip Checklist
For couples, including anyone planning a milestone or a proposal.
Short by design. The couples' trips that work best here are underbooked, not overbooked — one premium experience beats three ordinary ones.
One number does more work than any adjective in a listing: how many other guests will be aboard. Ask it.
Book ahead
- Sunset outing reserved (the island's tightest slot — one per boat per day)
- Asked the guest cap before booking anything described as romantic
- One dinner reserved, if there's a place you actually care about
- Left at least one evening completely unplanned
If it's a milestone
- Told the crew the occasion when booking — they upgrade moments for free when they know
- Considered a private charter if privacy is the point
- Asked whether you can board early to stage anything
- Confirmed the weather policy and reschedule window
If a proposal is happening
Crews here have run this many times and enjoy it — but only if they know in advance.
- Booked private rather than shared
- Briefed the crew: timing, music, photo angle
- Decided who's holding the ring and where
- Agreed a plan B if weather moves the date
Pack
- One warm layer each (evening water is cooler than the day suggests)
- Flat, deck-friendly shoes
- Sunglasses and hair ties for wind
- Phone in a zip pocket or crossbody
Confirm directly with your provider
These depend on the operator and the day. We don't publish them because we can't know them for your booking.
- Guest cap for the specific departure
- What food and drink is genuinely included
- Boarding and return times for your date
- Whether they can accommodate a celebration and how
Fill this in
- Sunset outing and boarding time
- Dinner reservation and time
- Occasion mentioned to crew? (yes/no)
- The evening you left unplanned
