Key West Compass is an independent information and referral platform. We are not a tour operator, travel agency, booking engine or official tourism body. We do not operate vessels or activities, employ crews, hold inventory, process activity payments or make reservations.

Submitting the Experience Finder (or any form here) creates no booking, hold or reservation of any kind. It authorizes us — per the consent you give — to respond and to connect you with a relevant local provider. Any booking that follows is made directly between you and that provider, on the provider's terms.

That authorization describes what you permit, not what currently happens. No activity category has an operator assigned at present, so requests are stored and read by us and shared with nobody. We publish the live status of every category, including where requests go, on our category status page. We do not guarantee a reply, a referral or a response time.

Activity providers control — exclusively — their pricing, availability, schedules, safety practices, equipment, capacity limits, age policies, cancellation and weather decisions, and service delivery. Information on this site about activities is general planning guidance; travelers must verify material details (times, prices, restrictions, policies, departure locations) directly with the provider before relying on them. This matters doubly for anything time-critical, such as cruise ship schedules — we never guarantee return-to-ship timing, and neither should anyone else.

Key West Compass may receive compensation from some featured providers or when travelers use certain links. Paid relationships will be disclosed. Compensation does not guarantee a positive recommendation. Details of how we evaluate operators are on how we review.

We work to keep guidance accurate and current, and we date our pages — but conditions, regulations, prices and operations in a working harbor town change constantly. Content may be updated, corrected or removed at any time, and is provided “as is” without warranties. Nothing here is legal, medical or safety advice.

Links to provider sites, booking platforms and other external resources lead to websites with their own terms and privacy practices, which govern your use of them. A link is not an endorsement of everything a site does.

Don't misuse the site: no scraping at scale, no submitting false requests, no attempting to breach the forms or hosting, and no reproducing our content commercially without permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Key West Compass is not liable for the acts, omissions or services of any provider, or for decisions made in reliance on general planning content. Your relationship for any activity is with the provider that operates it.
